Athletes

Here are the athletes that Peak Performance is working with or has worked with extensively in the past…..and they’re all still friends with us which is amazing…..

Paul Casey

Has been on the receiving end of Darren’s advice since 2004. Paul also has a trainer in the USA called Damon Shelton. Darren and Damon both work closely with Paul and Damon can be seen dragging Darren around the deserts of Arizona on a mountain bike. www.paul-casey.com

Bas Keep

BMX rider Bas Keep does a great job of ignoring most of what we say. Until he hurts himself of course…! www.kingramps.co.uk

The Atherton

The mountain biking dynasty that is the Athertons have been trained by us since 2007 – during which time they have become both UCI World Champions and World Cup overall world champions. www.athertonracing.com

Ryan Doyle

The world of freerunning is extraordinarily demanding, a self taught gymnast Ryan presents all sorts of unique challenges in training. www.ryandoyle.co.uk

Danny MaCaskill

The diminutive scottsman shot to fame after his youtube video amassed 15 million hits – the most in youtube history with the mighty Lance Armstrong saying it was a ‘must watch’. As with most of the athletes we work with, Danny has unique needs in a unique sport. www.dannymacaskill.co.uk

Kye Forte

Another BMX rider who tries to avoid us at all costs! www.unitedbikeco.com

Jonathan Rea

The unmistakable no 65 of ‘Johnny Rea’ – Jonathan to us, we’ve worked with Jonathan since 2004 when he was just 15 years old. Now of course we don’t see as much of him as we used to – going from 125 rider in the British Championship all the way through to race winner in World Superbike. The athlete we’ve worked with the longest and an athlete who has ‘gone all the way’ and continues to do so. www.johnnyrea.com

Jamie Nicholls

A young snowboarder with Olympic aspirations – Jamie is a very talented rider with a tonne of potential.

Hannah Whitely

Hannah is a kite surfer who is now in the PPF fold.

Scott McMorris

Practically an old man in snowboard now (!) Scott is a big air rider, he has to be forced to come and see us and complains about it. But secretly we know he loves it! El Capitan we salute you…! www.scottmcmorris.com

Reading Football Club

We were the nutrition consultants for Reading during their 1st season in the premiership, that season the team finished 8th. We left at the end of that season and of course the team went down that year and have stayed down – maybe we should’ve stuck around?
