Peak Performance has been appointed as nutrition consultants
to Reading FC for the 2006/07 season, their 1st in the Premiership.
Darren did a very broad strategy for them last season, despite this
they still won automatic promotion! With Darren’s incompetence
gone unnoticed, they offered him the job as the team’s nutritionist
for the new season working with the 1st team initially to ensure optimal
performance in the new challenge of the Premiership. Darren commented
‘I was flattered to be considered for the job and more than
happy to accept the position, I haven’t really got time to do
it with my commitments to Red Bull – but it’s all about
the money’. Darren is now faced with the task of actually having
to do some work and having an impact on the players, he was last seen
scratching his head and reading one of Dr Gillian McKeith’s
random books. |
